The Cyber Security Business Network was delighted to host our parliamentary event in partnership with Garrison Technology on Practical Cyber Solutions for National Security Systems on Tuesday 28 November in the Attlee Suite of Portcullis House, Westminster (1 Victoria Embankment, London SW1A 2JR).
Cyber security is now firmly established as a central part in the DNA of national security. In recent years, the range of cyber actors threatening the UK has grown, and the threat is increasingly asymmetric and global. Featuring national security and cyber resilience experts, the event will expand on the crucial role that innovative technologies already play in enabling the UK’s national security organisations, and explore how their broader adoption will enhance the UK’s capability to build a stronger, cyber-resilient defence.
The event welcomed senior speakers including Professor Ciaran Martin, the founding CEO of the NCSC, who highlighted the opportunities that technological advancements offer to make our world more secure. The event will also brought together the breadth of the UK’s security sector to discuss a variety of topical areas on improving national cyber security resilience, including delegates from the defence and security industry, Parliament, Government, academia, think tanks, and more.
