On Wednesday, 21st January 2026, The Cybersecurity Business Network (CBN) will be hosting its first Members Meeting of the year – an in‑person evening designed for paying members and exclusive delegates to directly influence CBN’s work, priorities, and policy focus for the year ahead
Hosted at the London office of Clarity Global, this will be a practical, discussion‑led session focused on assessing member priorities around the fast‑moving cyber security landscape – followed by an explainer on the second reading of the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill.

The evening is designed to be interactive, with an emphasis on members input on their priorities for 2026.
4:30pm – Welcome and 2026 context
- Our chair, Matt Warman, will open the session, setting the scene for a pivotal year in the UK cyber security and policy landscapes.
4:35pm – CBN’s plans and proposed focus areas
- CBN’s Founder, Nick Lansman, and Head of Network, Krystian Heald, will present CBN’s draft priorities for 2026, including:
- 2026 Priority Areas:
- Legislative and regulatory changes (e.g. Cyber Security and Resilience Bill, ransomware payments ban).
- Supporting industry innovation across AI security, quantum, IoT and emerging technologies.
- Strengthening national resilience and responding to the government’s latest Cyber Action Plan.
- CBN Subgroups:
- Introduction to new sub‑groups and proposed themes, with members invited to steer which areas would deliver the most value.
- 2026 Priority Areas:
4:50pm – 6:15pm – 2026 Member Roundtable
- An informal roundtable discussion where:
- Every member will have the opportunity to share their organisation’s priorities, concerns and opportunities.
- Themes will be captured live to direct CBN’s 2026 policy agenda and advocacy work.
6:15pm – 6:30pm – CSR Bill explainer + Q&A
- A brief explainer on on the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill following its second reading on 6th January, covering:
- Key themes of the debate, potential amendments, and practical implications for members.
- Open Q&A to surface areas where further guidance or collective engagement is needed, as CBN considers submitting evidence to the Public Bill Committee.
From 6:30pm – Networking drinks
- Continue the conversation, exchange insights, and explore collaborations over refreshments and networking.
